About.
We’re self-professed presentation enthusiasts who love helping businesses, big and small, communicate and persuade through better visual storytelling. We believe the root of a great presentation is one that marries Words and Design seamlessly together. That’s why we call ourselves Ink+Iris, because when telling a great visual story, one can’t exist without the other. Our goal is to improve the power of day-to-day storytelling, one presentation at a time.
Did you know that bad presentations cost companies around the world $300 million per day in wasted time?
While most companies already communicate in PowerPoint or Keynote in some way, shape or form, the typical everyday presentation tends to be poorly designed, hurriedly structured, over complicated, unclear and long winded. Death by PowerPoint – it’s a silent killer. But don’t blame the tool; blame the person using it. We’re on a mission to change all that, so that each time you present or communicate a new idea to someone else, it’s treated as an opportunity to be clear, to the point, persuasive and memorable.
Our story.
Our two co-founders met in New York City while working for a global media agency network. As the respective Global Heads of Marketing and Design, they bonded over their love of New York, yellow minions, and ridding the world of poorly told, badly designed presentations. The stars aligned for them to pursue their dream, and with their complementary skillsets that tie together Words and Design, Ink+Iris was born.
We believe in a culture that focuses on being simple, adventurous and playful. These three words guide us in everything we do or say, whether it’s by simplifying the over-complicated, being adventurous with new ideas and concepts, or approaching everything with a playful spirit. Life’s too short to do otherwise!
